Swim Week Miami Is Here And Fit Girl Eliana Jaimes Is Stepping Onto Her First Runway
Eliana Jaimes - Pilates Instructor, Miami Fit Girl and Runway Model
If there’s one thing Miami knows how to do, it’s turn Swim Week into a full cultural moment. Every year, the city transforms into a week-long celebration of fashion, confidence, beauty, wellness, and creativity as designers, models, creators, and industry insiders from around the world take over Miami for runway shows, events, parties, and brand activations centered around swim and resort wear.
But beyond the shows and the cameras, Miami Swim Week has also become a reflection of something bigger: women stepping into confidence, embracing individuality, and redefining what feeling good in your body looks like.
This year, we caught up with Fit Girl Eliana Jaimes ahead of her very first Swim Week runway appearance, and let’s just say, the timing of this moment feels personal.
The Miami-based creator, originally born in Colombia, has spent years building her platform through consistency, strategy, networking, and an unwavering belief in herself. But according to Eliana, this chapter feels different. After navigating a difficult breakup, she’s officially entered what she calls her “healing glow up era,” choosing herself, leaning into movement, and saying yes to opportunities that once felt intimidating.
Ironically, her first runway opportunity came naturally after a video of her confidently walking in a backless dress went viral online. Soon after, Miami swimwear brand Maheli Heli reached out and invited her to walk in their Swim Week show. With no runway experience, Eliana decided to do something many women struggle with: stop overthinking and just go for it.
And honestly? That feels very Fit Girl.
Ahead of the show, Eliana has been leaning into weight training, Pilates, StairMaster sessions, long walks, hydration, and whole foods. Not from a place of punishment, but from a desire to feel strong, healthy, and confident in her body.
But what stood out most during our conversation wasn’t the prep itself. It was her mindset.
“Do the things that scare you,” she shared. “Some people will say no, but you keep going until someone says yes.”
Between the confidence, the resilience, and the willingness to step into something completely new, Eliana’s Swim Week debut feels like more than just a runway moment. It feels like the start of a new era.
