Spotted: RP Heat Is Bringing Heated Mat Pilates to Fort Lauderdale This April
Reforming Pilates is turning up the heat—literally.
South Florida favorite Reforming Pilates is expanding its footprint with a brand-new concept: RP Heat, a heated mat Pilates studio set to open at the end of April 2026 in Fort Lauderdale.
Located in Victoria Park at 525 N. Federal Highway, directly across from the brand’s existing reformer studio, RP Heat marks the company’s first move into heated mat-based training—and a noticeable evolution for one of the region’s most in-demand Pilates brands.
A New Way to Train
Known for its elevated reformer experience, Reforming Pilates is now introducing a format that blends precision-based Pilateswith a high-energy, sweat-driven environment.
The new concept is designed to complement—not replace—their reformer classes, offering clients another way to build strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Inside the 3,000-square-foot studio, classes will accommodate up to 25 clients, creating a setting that feels both intimate and high-impact.
Think:
• mat Pilates, reimagined
• heat-driven intensity
• controlled, intentional movement
• a workout that challenges both strength and stamina
Why Heated Pilates—And Why Now
The rise of heated workouts—from yoga to sculpt classes—has created demand for formats that combine low-impact movement with higher intensity environments.
RP Heat steps directly into that space.
According to founder Genevieve Ross, the concept was driven by growing interest in mat-based classes that still deliver a challenge.
And placing the studio directly across from their Victoria Park location makes the strategy clear:
expand the experience, not the distance.
The Brand Behind It
Founded in 2022 by Genevieve and Daniel Ross, Reforming Pilates has quickly grown from a single studio into a multi-location brand across South Florida and New York.
Known for its luxury aesthetic, strong community, and top-tier instruction, the brand has become a staple in the region’s wellness scene.
RP Heat signals the next phase—one that leans into innovation while staying rooted in the experience clients already love.
The Studio Experience
While the format is new, the look and feel will remain consistent.
RP Heat will carry the brand’s signature:
• clean, modern design
• elevated studio environment
• curated, welcoming energy
But inside the workout room, expect something different: heat, intensity, and a faster-paced flow designed to push limits.
